Global Scanning Solutions was contracted by Neptune Geomatics to provide offset measurements, 3D laser scanning and 3D modelling services for the BHAGWAN Marine Dryden ROV and Dive Support Vessel in Singapore prior to its delivery in Australia. The primary objective of the project was to develop a general 3D primitive CAD model and determine the offset measurements of nominated sensor and reference points on the vessel during dry dock at Singapore.
Key deliverables included;
- 3D CAD as-built model
- Plan and section general arrangement drawings
A team of 4 were mobilised to this project, with the first team focusing on the dimensional control survey and the second on the 3D laser scanning. Our 3D modelling team were tasked with developing a 3D as-built model and offset general arrangements.
